With 40 years of equipment management and financial services experience, Mike was the primary architect and founder of many of the industry leading semiconductor equipment leasing and asset management (equipment buying and selling) companies.  His specialization is to focus on integrating both equipment and financial management products into full solution client services managed throughout the technology life-cycle, thereby allowing his clients to optimize the Cost of Ownership in high-technology assets.

Companies founded include GE Capital Electronics, Comdisco technology group which included business units in Healthcare, Industrial Automation, Life Sciences, Telecommunication and Electronics.  Mike also founded Babcock & Brown Electronics and was the leader and at KeyAssets.com an on-line technology equipment exchange.

At Comdisco Mike served as President of the Equipment Solutions Group launching five technology business units with over $5 billion in owned and managed assets. At GE Capital, Mike set and executed the strategy that resulted in GE becoming a dominant technology equipment management company. Mike joined Babcock & Brown in 2002 as founder and President of the technology group and led the group to grow its owned and managed assets to over $400M.  In addition, at Babcock & Brown, Mike and his team launched KeyAssets.com, an on-line technology equipment exchange, which managed a multi-hundred-million-dollar portfolio of third party equipment.  Another primary goal for the management team was to target and manage contractual programs with the top Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) providing both lease financing and equipment solutions to the OEM client base.

Mike is a graduate of Arizona State University where he earned his degree in Finance and Economics with a minor in Business Law.

Bob Ragland

Bob has completed over $4 billion in financing transactions using various structures, including securitizations, derivatives, project finance, facility finance, joint ventures, service contracts, leveraged leases and venture capital over his 40 years in the finance industry. Prior to co-founding Worldfab, Bob held leadership positions at Bank of America Leasing, AEL Financial, Household International (HSBC), Citicorp, and Bankers Trust Company (Deutsche Bank). In his tenure at Bankers Trust Company he was in charge of high technology lending, built the Bank’s first database-linked business forecasting, debt-rating, and econometric forecasting models and helped create some of the first loan securitization products. At Bank of America, Bob created innovative service contract outsourcing financing entities allowing for off-balance sheet, off footnote funding for several hundred million dollars of equipment.  In his tenure as Chief Operating Officer at AEL he restructured and automated its business, generating a five-fold increase in new business volume, and raised over $400 million in capital. Bob holds a degree in finance from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance and an MBA in Finance with a concentration in Information Systems and Technology from New York University’s Stern School.
